Delta's ability to respond to any situation
was exemplified during the 1993 Trade Center bombing. Having
only three hours notice, Delta provided total on-site
services for a national data recovery firm, involving the relocation
of over 1,400 employees from the World Trade Center to a 350,000
square foot facility in New Jersey.
Delta set up a command center, provided
and managed over 100 full and part-time employees to
work 3 shifts, 24 hours a day, over a period of several months.
Another prime example of Delta's emergency
response capability was recently demonstrated at a large corporate
headquarters facility located in Bergen County, New Jersey. The
site manager had been replaced and took it upon himself to incorrectly
inform the 39 person crew that their services were no longer
required. The net result was no cleaning staff at the facility
that evening. In less than one hour, Delta's management team
supplied a 39 person replacement staff and the building was completely
clean that evening.
